Structural Systems: Light-frame conventional wood construction, engineered roof trusses, wood I joist floor over crawlspace, cast-in-place concrete grade beams and drilled caisson foundations.

Description:

This 5-phase project involved expansion and replacement of an existing preschool, including an addition of a Kindergarten Room of 1,400 sq. ft. and a conversion of one residential unit to a storage area.  Also, a 1,200 sq. ft. exterior platform for the production of student plays and performances was built in the northwest corner of the site. The platform was supported by a concrete beam and pier system and lateral stabilized with a steel cables and helical piers.
