Denise joined the Gebau team in July 2016.  She moved from Ohio in July of 2016 and was looking to transition to more of an administrative management role that allowed her to leverage her 25+ years of experience in web development, accounting oversight, customer service along with her management and programming experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

She was hired to manage day to day office operations which include accounts payables & receivables, collections, employee records, overseeing engineer licensing & education requirements and year-end tax preparation reporting.  Her past experiences were immediately drawn upon to help Gebau transition to a new billing system mid 2016.

Her work experience also included over 15 years in the non-profit sector serving as the lead case worker for the Northern Ohio Salvation Army as well as the Administrator and Outreach director for Northcoast Community Church.

Other Info:

Denise’s move to Colorado, with her husband Michael, in 2016 was fueled by their 25th Anniversary trip to Colorado in 2013.  They fell in love with the mountains.   They decided to pull up roots from the only town they ever lived in and planted themselves in Colorado.   They will be celebrating 30 years of marriage in 2018.

Denise and Mike, along with their rescue dog Jack, love exploring all that Colorado offers.  Especially hiking, biking, snowshoeing and craft beer!  They recently purchased a new home in Berthoud and can’t wait for family and friends to visit.

Denise also enjoys volunteering to lead Financial Peace University Classes that teach budgeting principles to individuals and families.
