Description: Modern guest house design incorporates flat, planted roof system doubling as patio/lawn space for the main house above. Steep site grading required 18 ft. tall foundation walls in the rear, transitioning to a lower-level drive-in garage in the front. Large openings for the views were accomodated with structural rims and flush-framed steel beams.
