Received his Bachelor of Science for Architectural Engineering from the
University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado in 1977. Additional post
graduate education was obtained in Finite Element Analysis and Analysis of
Plates & Shells. He served with the Bureau of Reclamation in Denver,
Colorado for two years before joining the private consulting firm of Towner,
Lopez & Partners in 1979. Since his parting with Towner, Lopez &
Partners in 1982, John has directed the development of the present organization.
He is a registered professional in the States of Colorado, Florida, Texas, Ohio,
Tennessee, Georgia, Oregon, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Virginia and Louisiana.
In addition, he is a member of both the Colorado State and National Chapter
of the Consulting Engineers Council, and a member of the Certified
Consulting Engineers of Colorado.
