9th & Pearl

    This project incorporates all aspects of living.  It includes shopping, working and living areas.  The project cost 2.5 million dollars to construct, and took 11 months to complete.  The project is slightly over 45,000 square feet.  The square footage is composed of 8,000 square feet of residential housing, 17,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of retail space.  The 9th & Pearl project is a steel structure with a masonry and stucco finish.  To accommodate the parking demands for such a diverse complex an underground parking structure was created to house the residences', employees' and customers' vehicles.  The underground parking structure is concrete.  This underground facility is 30,000 square feet and has the capacity to hold 100 vehicles.  This mixed use project was constructed in 1997 just blocks away from the Pearl Street Mall.  This mixed use project has been a great success.  It has added much need office, retail and living space in close proximity to downtown Boulder.
